We Take Care Of
The Whole Process

Alcohol Addiction Services For All

Individuals, families, organisations & businesses

We offer our alcohol services to individuals, as ultimately that’s who we treat. The very nature of alcohol dependence means that those people often need help from friends, family, organisations, employers or other groups of organisations. We take referrals from all kinds of organisations looking for external specialist help.

Individuals

We treat anyone suffering alcohol dependence and alcoholism. We offer free advice and guidance on where to get help and how to go about getting sober and staying sober. If you need help, please reach out, we are here to help.

Families

Sometimes called the "family illness" because it affects more than just the drinker. If you have a loved one who needs help and don't know where to turn, please get in touch for free advice, guidance on where to go and what to do.

GPs & Medical Clinics

We take referrals from GPS and medical professionals who believe their patients need extra support in order to overcome alcohol. We can offer home/remote alcohol detox, as well as sobriety support including abstinence medications such as Disulfiram pills and implants and counselling and sober coaching.

Counsellors & Therapists

We provide medical services to help detox the clients of counsellors and therapists in order that they can do their best work with a sober client. Our discreet, private and confidential service works for all therapists, whether you see clients in person or online. We work on reduced fees and also a commission basis.

Retreats & Spas

People who drink too much often try to "get away from it all" by attending retreats, wellbeing centres, religious or spiritual weekends or weeks to try and bolster their well-being. We understand that this is a good opportunity for people to undertake an alcohol detox and start their healing journey.

Family & Small Businesses

We work with businesses of all sizes, all over the country, to provide support to employers and their staff. Let us take away any worries or stress and help you and your workforce overcome any addiction issues. Contact us to find out about the range of private and confidential addiction services we can offer.

Care & Nursing Homes

Our addiction services can help owners and staff of smaller care and nursing homes without their own incumbent medical team. We can offer the full range of alcohol detoxification services remotely or in person, helping you support your residents with the best addiction care available.

Secondary Rehabs

We know that relapse can be part of the recovery journey, and we provide medical support to secondary and tertiary rehab units, and supported accommodation housing. We can provide alcohol detox services remotely or in person, as well as counselling and other recovery services.

Colleges & Universities

Our private service for education supports faculty to provide the very best care for students. We provide specialist addiction detox and recovery services for young adults and can help them get back on track and back to their studies in no time at all. Discreet and confidential at all times.

We Are A Leading UK Provider Of Remote & In-Person Addiction Treatment

About Detox Today

We take care of the whole process. From speaking to the individual or their representative, right through to treatment and one-to-one aftercare and sober coaching.

Our services are efficient, worry-free and life-saving. We are independent and we are highly experienced, so we help you choose the right treatment path – whatever and wherever that is – that’s best for you. All private clinics, detox units and rehab centres will say they’re the best option for you, and they have the best treatment, but we know otherwise. As independent treatment providers, we use only the clinics and methods of recovery with the best chance of success, tailored to the individual. We know how to get people well, and it is not one-size-fits all or any particular clinic. We work with all providers in the UK and know the nuances between treatments. And we know cost is important too. We find excellent value treatment all over the UK. Not all rehabs are the same, and many charge premium costs but deliver substandard service. We know, we’ve all worked in the industry for decades.

At Detox Today, our job is to help people overcome addiction, save lives and stop unwanted pain for the individual, their loved ones, colleagues and wider circle. Contact us today to find out how we can help.

Frequently Asked Questions

Call our helpline and one of our telephone counsellors can help advise what to do for yourself or someone you know who wants to stop drinking alcohol. We have decades of experience in helping people overcome alcohol. We will provide advice on how to go about getting treatment on the NHS and also privately –  whatever treatment path that suits you. We have a variety of options for remote treatment, as well as across the whole of the UK for outpatient and residential help. And, treatment can start today.

If the situation is an emergency or immediately life-threatening, please call 999 and ask for an ambulance.

We have helped hundreds of people get sober and stay sober over the years. Anyone can sober up and live a happy and content life, free from alcohol – no matter how unwell they may be. We have helped and seen many people come back from very dark and very unwell places. It’s why we do this. We know recovery can work for everyone.

A home alcohol detox is an excellent option, especially for people who can’t or won’t attend either outpatient or inpatient detox, or those who don’t have extremely chronic alcoholism. With home detox, it is what it sounds like, you undertake a medical detox at home. The client speaks to one of our doctors on the telephone or on a video call and the doctor diagnoses the situation, then prescribes detox medications. These are sent to you by overnight guaranteed post or collected from a pharmacy local to you. You can start the detox with remote support from our doctors, addiction support staff and counsellors.

Yes, we do implants as well as pills for alcohol abstinence, including Disulfiram (Antabuse), Acamprosate (Campral) and Naltrexone. Contact us to find out availability and to book a consultation.

Our telephone helpline, all of our telephone advice, any recovery guides or PDFs, helpful articles, email advice or plans of recovery we provide are free. Our GP services do have a fee as it is a private service. Referrals to other treatment providers can cost money, unless, of course, that service is free such as your own GP, community NHS addiction teams or charity services. Often, we can negotiate a cheaper price with treatment providers than if you went direct to them without our service. Sometimes, the treatment provider pays us a fee, however, the price our clients pay is never more expensive because of our fee.

If a loved one or friend needs alcohol addiction support, please give us a call on 0800 009 6675. We have all sorts of free advice and guidance to help you as well as your loved one. We know it’s a worrying and stressful time for all – we’re here to help and have many years experience in helping people and their families and friends.
